Back Again

Tell me again, where I am from
For I find the swamps homely
But scary to admit.

And hear the footsteps time louder
But a stranger, in the corridor of hope
As the footsteps always go in reverse.

Morose filled
Days progress's enmity
Digress grins
At the helm of a pleated beautiful nightmare.

So! I dare you to tell me again
& see the wrath of the sun
Slumping life
In front.

Horrid Seduction

Dangling skeleton closets
At broad daylight
Brewed in dusk escapades
Tongue-tied to fallacies
Brood words spilled in drunkenness
was all of it.

Blended in trouble
Replies swollen
Moments swearing
Dust-dampening trickling
clock rushing-ly winding
It was time.

Mopped in fear
Perused by anxiety
Chest rapidly pumping
Eyes untamed scrolling
end to end
Uncertainty swallowed
The piper had come to play.

Feet funneled
Blows rumbling
Daybreak ghosting
Truth scorching
Straight into flying pans
Inflamed in regrets
into vowing never again.
