Let's Play

Let's play a game for a minute
A game where we wait in queue
Where time is never of value
But just another digit on the clock
Let's just stand wasting productive moments
For tomorrow we cry

Let's play a game for a second
A game where we always complain
But never take charge of mistakes
For we blame others for our failures
And play the devils advocate for envy within
Killing time without action
For tomorrow we cry

Let's play a game for a micro second
A game where we steal from our own
As production is never of essence
But just a process on the roll
For we fill our greedy bellies without sweating
While dancing on each others head without think
For tomorrow we cry

Let us just play a game
A game where we act without thinking
As we rob ourselves with rowdiness
Destroying what was to be
As today we rejoice in mayhem
For tomorrow we cry

Illuminate Plains

I stood by your shoulders
Hoping to be elevated in my weakness
As I beseech to fly with the Stars
Illuminating the darkness within
As I touch the sky to change the world
Strangled by our selfish desire
Hidden to plain

My Breath You Take

How can cry
When misery have chained me to its legs
For every sound I make
Every breath I take
It chokes me out of air

Though I know
Just one day
It will be my day
For her vices will finally loosen
Breaking free from her curse
As success will stay

Great Being

We play God
holding onto light bulbs
illuminating path of the blind
steadily tumbling down
hoping to discover the universe
consumed by the darkness
only to be reminded
there is a great being
than us
reaching
highlighting the way
that we stumble not
