I'm the centre
that keeps their structures strong
the beam
that provide them with light
the spear
that hunts their foes
in the depth of night
the tree
that provide them with oxygen
on a scotched earth
the fruit
that brings life to them
on desert plain
For I'm
the one they persecuted
to feed their egos
the one they rejected
whilst among them
now they call onto my name
the one they screamed crucify Him
yet scared of my purpose
the cornerstone that stand before them
but back then once rejected
the one they played carpentry
while carrying their burdens
the one they placed amongst the thieves
yet guiltless of the crimes charged
As I'm
the living God that concurred death
to buy for their freedom
spilling my blood to fulfill my father's call
for death had no hold on me
as I spread my love
for no cost at all
singing angels of my victory
to the salvation of the world
preaching come onto me
and i to give you rest
for my will
