You In a Few Promises

 Obsessing

Over little things

To gain bigger things

Got me twisted in this rude irony

Where happiness is the future

Built upon today's sadness.

You could simply say it to be fate

Fitted within the mindset

Of oneself denial

Yet accepting

The ghost pulpit thoughts

Narrowed between empty tongues clicks

Wrinkled sheets testimonies

& arrow-ed midnight shots

Straight into the wilderness shorts.

Where to gain

Is dark fishing

Ducking emotions

to shooting shots

Heart plunged in lust

Lasting seconds

Under flithy promises.

Words Bled

Photo by Steve Johnson from Pexels

Packing up all the words

My world have been a flick on a pen

Bled out at every tear drop

Another story becomes a reality

Though jokingly

The gateway between my physical  & spiritual realm

Have been the corridor in my mind

Prophecising tomorrow

Held on a dollar.

Yet on a dollar

Cheap thrills

Tear the fabric of my reality

Hearing the tongue wiggle

On it's own demolition course

Granted by the uncanning mind

Weary of its undressed thoughts

That it burns a village under a tear scroll

All in vain.

Identity-less Pride Prize

I forgot the beauty of the sun

As I found myself dancing at the glow of the moon

Busy flirting with forgetfulness nightmares

As I forgot how to speak my tongue

But remembered how to tango with the darkness.

Screaming on mountain tops

I faulted those who awarded crowns

& painted the earth red

for its murderous hands

dealt a hand of stubbornness

as the lessons of my fathers

seeded deaf soils

that my mothers mulching

seized to germinate yield.

Yielding to empty hands

but laziness

As I waited for my parents' store

to fill this belly of mine

uncandid wines & curses

their hands get stained

floating my freedom to ravage their stores

while I beat the chest with pride

of my identity-less.

The Neighbor's Heart

Do you remember when the wind seized to brush through branches?

Do you remember when time froze to the moment of the day?

Do you remember how our words got arrested within our mouth

that only our eye sockets were the only thing that moved?

Do you remember how that neighbor had us

before "hello"?

for all we could do was to stare

and stay put at that very spot

reverie of open windows under her arms

light-footed at her every touch

forgetting the pleasantries to elders.

as they stand as rude awakens

to this fairytale of a dream

her, as the plus one to my smiles

and the world as the enemy neighbors to my heart

as the stand barricading the typhoons of emotions

toppling my mind.

Wilding Tongue

In a single ray of hope

His words plumed out the chest

Heavy to the heart

But now or never was the situation

As from seventh grade

He had kept them all in

Drowning at every sighting of her.

Her whispers being his secret joys

Yet havoc wrecking

That he was not the one

The one ploughing the heart to seventh highs

The one tossing her blankets in blunts of thoughts

The one running her wild in yearning of holdings

As she sought the Barton of finding her one.

So it was the last of the dance

Laced out in hurricanes pressure

As she was the Precious he sought for

And today, words had to spill on her.

"Would you be....

the sun on the horizon of day."

Trailing the atmosphere.

Viking Love Now

Welcome into my medieval mind

where we stand as barbaric in love

for we advocate lies

spitting truth only to furnish more lies

as our smiles stand as "sagas" on their own

for we endorsed frowns to cover our deeds

awarding certificates

to ones we conquer.

Viking on a pursuit

we voyage into the plains to find cities

and conquer hearts,

to see them pleading

mercy as a tale

we forget to revisit.

For we are!

Warriors without bounds.

Our homes as the crowns of war

behead in lies that bind

as we chase those who hide

assassinating their strength

to quench our yearning.

So! Welcome to my medieval mind

where evil is the power we hold

tormenting the souls

for we are warriors after love

and our saga is hard to tale.

*"No Cap!" It Hurts To Hate.*

I choose to be a perfect replica of pain.

As I dived hemad first

Only to catch myself bleeding

Maybe it was just my subconscious pleading

Cause,

I forgot

how it felt

When the dagger plunged deep

Or when I jumped onto retrograde train.

For backwards,

I saw time riding upon my soul

Cutting out on angels

Ready to deliver my smiles

Arming up with a pick

Straight into the devils mine

Hoping to find mine

A gem that was never mine.

For I altered my heart at the seam

Hoping to mend us

And caught a flight to cloud 9

Only to find myself chucked out of heaven before 9

Straight to the pavement splash

Where I choose to be the perfect replica of pain.

Wilding Love Thoughts

 "Please wait!"

She blunted from the ceiling

torn out of hope

as the day regressed to the nest

and time seemed to rush to an arrest

Her words began to escape

and shut down momentarily.

In splitting seconds to hours

The air tensed as he eyed her ferociously.

"But, How could you?"

The clips of the scene

rolling looped in his mind

strength sipping out at every clip roll.

As the incident ganged up on him

and thoughts hipped up

into a campfire.

His eyes continuously starred at the bed

now a stranger's corner.

Love! had tied a knot upon his soul.

His words were alien to himself.

She had become the sun,

her action blue as the sky

but her words a partly cloudy intention.

as it set alight his pile of thoughts

straight into a bonfire.

An Author's Cry

An author's cry

From a continent deemed have no lights

Seen from the loophole of my skin

Where silence grace the paper

And words filter the atmosphere

As my talents are my undoing

For she came with her heart dangling

Like sacrifice onto the alter she claimed

But in all honesty

My words she sought to incarcerate

As I was the beauty she despised.

After my tears rolled down on paper

She tears my heart to please her arrogance

Wearing a crown of superiority

She lies of being of good heart

Yet allotting a Judas kiss

Under the cover of the night

As my skin speak of my unprivileged plea

She snatches the saint line

And feed my soul

Off her infidelity games

That my sheets wrinkle at day

Awaiting the night

Where she host another.

Claiming the dangerous words

Her hate lies in the bed of my legacy

Crowning my head a destitute

But my pants speaks highly of her desires

As she probed my bed with her scent

That the truth get scattered between the sweat of two

Under the blanket without

Chewing my soul with her lustrous buffet

For she came with her heart dangling

Acting out like a lamb

But internal a wolf on rampage

Purging my skin with her glorious lies

Her words.

Who was to believe?

When her skin was true

And mine

Came from a continent deemed have no lights

And the streets glory given to those who lies

For history was her words

Under my skin

Deleted to stand a fair trail

As she author a lie to stand true

And debunk the truth as lies

For she was superior

So the world claimed

Neglecting my tears rolling on the paper.

Chasing Green

Money

A personal being that never visits

but dance on tree tops

for if want to dance

you got to brave it up

steepness being the assist

as the personal being leaps

full of joy and mischievous.

For if you get to the top

forget above the bottom

and let fear disappear

as to look down, is your fall

to look up is your loss

as green will swap your pockets with stones

seizing what's his

before you

while money continue to mesmerize.

Pains Left For Years

Taken in the mid of night

to a pledge of misery

where chains bounded the flesh

to inflict mind torments.

This was the ordeal of the night

where our pants found the ground

and our soul got committed

death by groans and moans.

For they stole our prayers

and morphed our love to hate

as seconds passed to decades

robbing innocence to pleasures of their flesh.

For in their minds

our flesh was their entitlement

so they parted sea between

and let their voyages stream down and up.

Cannoning in our grief of pain

as our screams were ignored to pleasures

a grown men pouncing on tender flesh

leaving innocence on suicidal plea

as there ways, fill our lives with nightmares.

But, how could they be?

Life in a Dream

 It all felt so real
Having another glass raised
As the night was another bliss
For here I found my purpose
And the world was peaceful
As finally I was home
Finding myself wrapped under her arms.

As I found golden wings
For the first time I saw the bright light
It was all in her eyes
The world was nothing but a beautiful piece of paradise
A piece of paradise just for me and her
Her being the goddess of love
Beauty was her name as said by her physique .
Her voice is still my favorite song.

As it smoothen my soul
Creating a rythm my heart drums too
As I could taste her in the air
She was so real, yet unbelievably close
For I have been yearning for her at distant
Unsure of myself
Yet here she was, a bountiful feast  right before me
So without wasting time, I held her close to my core.

Sweet as it felt
Beautiful as it was
So real it felt yet it was far from real
For it was just a dream
A beautiful dream that will always be in my mind for as long as I live.

For the hen did it to me
Alarming my surrounding
To a mirage of her
As I found myself back in waste
Where I eye her at distant
Piecing the scraps of my heart to gunner confidence.

Joyce Vincent

Forget about me
Yes, do forget about me
I was a lady of perfection
Seized by trouble beyond my walls
As they merely remembered me when they saw me
But quickly forgot about me when I left
How could this be?
When I worked with them chatting my story out.

Forget about me
Yes, do forget about me
For you cared not about my life
Yet you called me a friend
Checking health at sight
But when out of sight
I become out of mind
So I sipped my last on my own
And waited years before I rested.

Forget about me
Yes, do forget about me
For when your sugar run out
You called at my doorstep
But when all was good
My doorstep turned to a wall
As you forgot of my existence
And chequed my own acount
Only if i could speak for myself

Forget about me
Yes, do forget about me
This is the world they now call home
For we lost love to the screen
And addicted we became to a peace
That loneliness creeps at
As families have become a mere figure
Neighbors just another number on the door

Forget about me
Yes, do forget about me
As tomorrow is for singles
And the dust is a friend of one at a time
For we were not at all
But mere passangers in this voyage of life
That I waved goodbye without my kins
And it took a judge to discover my remains
As they knew me not
But forgot about me
When the wall held my service in the static of the screen.

Old Fashioned Room

Just a kid in an old fashioned room
Where materials are just a gimmick of fading lies
As today I woke up in her embrace
And the world was true
The smiles were real
As happiness was an infinity guest to our quarters
But this was just before time

For time stole the real
Leaving the room's brightness blue
As tears of truth could be seen streaming
And the fabric of society teed
Leading a mystic nightmares trail to bed
For where warmth stood
Is rigged with haven of quarrels

Leaving the happiness quarters a void
As the harlot sadness house the room
Fixated a dungeon of regrets to bare
For the broen bottle befriends
Abandoning kitchen counters with misplaced memories
Where I was just a kid in an old fashioned room
Now renovated to modern horrors.

Catch 22

If only you could believe the lies I baptized my soul in
If only you could believe the sight I roped my heart at
You could simply call my being here a miracle
For down to the waist
I sand trapped myself
Sinking deeply by the second
But miraculously I am still here
Calling names to the spirits beyond my veil
As I veil my shame in shunning the truth
Soiling all the evidence
Seeking to choke the lies I wear

If only you could believe the lies I soaked my soul in
If only you could believe the eye I fixed my heart at
You could honestly call my life an illusion
For anchored to the bottom
My legs pull me down
As I further fall to the trappings of my thoughts
Crowning the lies i tailores to regalia.

Colliding Nature

Like a blank page ready to be scripted on
your words bled through the barrel
inking onto a tinted canvas
teared up by the past
afraid to be amused again
SHUT!

So I crept in my shell
as the poetess glow
amused my eyes
disbelieved to lust
STRUCK!

Shunning all of me
I plead at the feet of your heart
seeking what my soul longing call for
as I get lost in a maze of desire
ALTERED!

So words got louder
though silently they played the mind
enticed by the body of thoughts
"I WANT YOU TO BE MINE!"
screamed louder in the vocals of my heart
BEDDED!

Better Be Me.

Better be me

fielding glory to a thorny throne

Deemed a fool

as the lazy poison the air

Am I one?

tracking questions

flooding the brains

branded a dull game.

As outcast carol

Sound the horns

hanged to hope

choking the air.

Better be me

than bleed vanity

for morrow

never come to help

but laugh itself to cure

queued in distress.

Toxic Love

 I am sorry,
I couldn't plead my joy
Neither could I bleed my happiness.

As in your arms
The world cased my eyes
Casting all my thoughts to fade.

You!
Being a remedy
a curse at the same time.

So I #ink
My burden and pleasure
On the same line.

While smiling to please
The lies that have become my bed of roses
As get stung with her bees.

Concurrently given
A nectar of lust
To forget.

Yes!
I'm now addicted to it
But the bruise
that decorate my skin
is now a shame.

However happily worn
As it tear the fabric
Life threaded down.

Shared

 Enslaved by love

I roamed the earth to please her

her words being the bind to my heart

Unescapable to my soul

she was all i saw

her flaws disappeared right infront me.

Throw in the devil's dish

she roasted my joy with an iron clawed

but my feets were unwilling to flee

flattering out

the adulterous nature of my existence

candidly burnt alive.

A guest in hell

the heart that was supposed to be my anchor

tormented was the flesh

sizzling the soul with regrets

as tear failed to drown the pain

called out into the family

Ritually divided amongst the women

ignorant of the yoke held

she parade my heart infront of predators

lured the shameless to invade the bed

breaking bad disguised as love

yet lust held the roaster at helm.

Blood Of My Own

i'm a monster on the seat

devouring my brothers pride

to see their tears roll.

call me a conquer of democracy

for i blaze fire

without a cause

hoping to see red

decorating my path

for i'm a monster on seat

my wrath

is my security

tilling their happiness

as my fuel to live

please don't leave standing here

for the streets calls my blood

but when that around ballots come

i cool my temper

just to fool you once again.
