All in the name of being a man
We tear down walls of emotions
Mastering the courage not to let a teardrop
Yet troubled with a lot.
All in the name of being a man
We build our house of cards in a lie
Telling all of a strongman we are
Yet in darkness, we tear apart.
All in the name of being a man
We celebrate our tears in silence
Mastering no courage to speak our truth
To the extent, that the nails of pain crucify us in silence.
All in the name of being a man
When we speak of our thorns
They call us for not being a man
Hypering our struggles, to be a behind-curtains thing
That when the curtains open
Only sunshine is allowed to remain
Yet our souls bounce among the graveyard.
