Could someone please take
this, loop away from me.
For I have been watching the heavens
Scared to see reality
While my mind squats in memories.
How can it be?
A puzzle unfitting the mind
Ravage in thoughts.
It can't be?
Befits the reality
but untrue to call.
Recalling the last we had
Sweet and sour moments
that made us be.
Now standing no-more.
As disbelief settles in
& grief part ways with peace.
I find myself in a stare of the heavens
pleading for another chance to share.
