Blood Of My Own

i'm a monster on the seat

devouring my brothers pride

to see their tears roll.

call me a conquer of democracy

for i blaze fire

without a cause

hoping to see red

decorating my path

for i'm a monster on seat

my wrath

is my security

tilling their happiness

as my fuel to live

please don't leave standing here

for the streets calls my blood

but when that around ballots come

i cool my temper

just to fool you once again.

Just How Long

How long shall we wait?
Wait for change
That is there
But never here

How long shall we dance?
Dance to poverty
That is never there
But always here

How long shall we sing?
Sing songs of change
That are never played there
But always on replay here

How long shall we feast?
Feast on empty platters
That are never empty there
But always without here

How long shall we cry?
Cry of tears of anger, brokeness and hurt
When there smiling face always prevail
While here blood always roll from our eyeballs

For how long shall we be like these?
Just how long?

MERCY

Mercy I cry
Mercy I plead
Mercy I beg

Am I not your brother?
That you slaughter
My offspring like it's Christmas in July

Am I not your sister?
That my labour you sacrifice
As you murder my struggle
With machetes and guns

When you were in pain?
Wasn't I there to provide comfort?
Now I now a dog
And old horse
That you put to bed

Mercy I cry
Mercy I plead
Mercy I beg

Can You Imagine

Imagine being born a world
Where laws are never there
But they are there
And tears, are ever drumming the drum
without sound

A world where grievance are never heard
But are seen without actions
As bellies are always on E
Hoping to be filled
Without mercy in sight

Can just imagine
A world where being bold
Is crime, death is a sentence
Being outspoken is threat
Which laws manifest to cap

Illuminate Plains

I stood by your shoulders
Hoping to be elevated in my weakness
As I beseech to fly with the Stars
Illuminating the darkness within
As I touch the sky to change the world
Strangled by our selfish desire
Hidden to plain

My Breath You Take

How can cry
When misery have chained me to its legs
For every sound I make
Every breath I take
It chokes me out of air

Though I know
Just one day
It will be my day
For her vices will finally loosen
Breaking free from her curse
As success will stay

Night Clubs On Wheels

We stood firm together
Hoping nothing to tear us apart
For we soldiered on to hells gates
As we sought to free ourselves
For hostage was the chains of slavery
As the courage we hosted was deemed to match to each

Towards the mouth of the furnace
In the fierceness of the battle
The craven choose to run away
Abandoning freedom
Throwing some discouragement

For their desires were see us incarnate
Dancing to poverty
As if it's a night club on wheels
Though rolling down hill to destruction

Dreams of tomorrow

Tomorrow was what we hold
Hoping for change to come
In glad tidings
Setting the preset to prosperity
Denning the corrupt from indulging

For all this was just reverie
For infested was the system
Distorting the dreams of the future
As elusive were the prospects
For tomorrow wasn't ours

For poverty were all we swallow
Dreams were all we afford
As our sweat build empires of the elite
Destroying the legacy of the just
To wallow in sorrow

Ordained In The Stars

Why do you love to hurt?
While pretending to care
When did hate turn to love?
For all you claimed
Was you love me
Yet your actions told another story

A maid I became to you
And if I stood up for myself
You saw me as rebel
All you ever wanted was to entrap me
So I couldn't be what I was meant to be

For scared you were
Of what was in me
So you tried using seniority
As vice to incarcerate me
And yet you still hid behind the veil of love
To fool me
For my success was pain

For your desires
Were see me down
Begging for scraps
Rather than winning
Wrecking my ship
Hoping that I sink and drown
But way up!
Was my only destination
You couldn't stop me
For it was predestined

Greatness
Preordained in the stars

Sweat To Starvation

They told me to work hard
If I was to make it
And yet they wanted to bleed me off my labour

They told me, "if you work for us"
They were to give me everything
I ever desired
And yet all they cared about was my sweat in their bellies

When I tried to stand up for myself
They pounced on me with their powers
Leaving me in fear and depression
For murder they promised

So I sweat for them to grow bigger
While my family languishes in poverty
Starvation being my everyday cue

They claim to be my heroes
Yet they enslave me
With their shackles of greediness
Killing my generation's future
For the sake of their own benefit
Incarnating my dreams in their bubble of corruption

Was it the cost of freedom?
They claim to have given me
How was I to live?
When hell is what they awarded me
